Recently saw a reference to ‘Skin hunger’. And though this reference was noted in the context of more recent Covid quarantine situations…I see the same ‘hunger’ as framework for Coverings: Skin touch of a woman alone

After divorce and bumpy dating, I found myself alone.  Appreciation for the skin touch of a warm pair of socks, for example, became a tender means to pass through those times of physical aloneness.
